Product Description The Titleist Pro V1 golf ball is designed for serious golfers of all levels that demand Tour-validated technology and performance. The ball offers such essential features as a soft and resilient core that improves your feel and distance, a resilient Ionomer casing layer, and a high-performance Urethane Elastomer cover. The technologies combine to produce low spin off your driver or irons, while maintaining soft compression for outstanding feel when approaching the greens. Golfers will especially appreciate the Pro V1's Drop-and-Stop control, which helps them better influence the spin on approach shots. The A.I.M. side stamp, meanwhile, is terrific for putting, as it helps you align the ball with the hole. Other details include a higher-coverage 392-dimple design that improves the flight trajectory and a staggered wave parting line that enhances distance.
The Titleist Pro V1 represents the coalescence of three of Titleist's industry leading technologies: large solid core, multi-component construction, and high performance Urethane Elastomer cover technology. Fast initial velocity, lower spin and high launch combine to produce a flatter, less arcing ascent and straight ball flight for exceptional driver and long iron distance. The trajectory profile of the New Titleist Pro V1 generates a steep angle of descent into the green and provides Drop-and-Stop performance on approach shots.

best on market October 19, 2009 Cassandra A. Wagaman (MD USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
they have a lot of bite "easy to put spin on" if that is what you like and controllable
Still the best ball ever made December 4, 2009 M. Littman I am a 2 handicap, and I have tried the Callaway HX balls, Bridgestones, Nike One Platinum and the ProV1 is still the best ball out there. The cover is soft enough to be able to spin the ball, but still stands up to wear and tear. I usually use 2 balls per round max. It's actually a little longer off the tee than last year's model too.

Not as good as last years Pro V's but I still like them better than anything else.
PRICED TOO HIGH December 31, 2009 OLIVIA (SOMEWHERE) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this product from this site without realizing how much more I was actually paying. I received the golf balls with the price tag of $45 still on the box. I paid over $62 plus shipping! Do yourself a favor and purchase them somewhere else! My husband LOVED this gift, so I didn't have the heart to send them back. Apparently, they are worth the price...just not $20 over!
Good ball, bad price December 17, 2009 Jim F (Bethesda, MD USA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Of course it's a good ball. Although there are many good balls out there. The 1-star rating is due to the price. The price I see as of this writing, $59.95/doz, is ridiculous. You can do better than that at any Sports Authority. Or any Pro Shop, for that matter.
